Celebrate Isaac Newton with the Mad Newton Martini

With today being Isaac Newton's Birthday, Night and Day Productions has created a special martini that celebrates one of science's most important forefathers. Newton was a pioneer in the studies of gravity, chemistry, calculus, and astronomy. He is an almost mythological figure that is widely known for his observations of falling apples in relation to gravity and lesser known for fervent attempts in the field of alchemy. With these factors in mind do enjoy!

The Mad Newton Martini
Serves 1

2 oz citrus vodka
1/2 oz Sour Apple Pucker schnapps
1/2 oz Orange Liqueur
3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
1 Splash of Bacardi 151 Rum

Combine the citrus Vodka, Apple Pucker schnapps, Orange Liqueur and Lemon juice in a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes, and shake well.

Strain and pour in a martini glass.

Splash 151 Rum on top and light on fire. Wait till extinguished to drink.

Optional: Garnish with Lemon Peel

  1. Wow ! This looks great ! I will be sure to book Night & Day for my next party.

  2. I have used Night and Day Productions for events several times and it was a great choice! When I was gone on Holiday, Jennifer and her staff took care of all my party details; including awesome cocktails:)
